Virginia Thoughts
So my friends in Virginia are throwing a party this weekend. Five of them (three who actually still live there) all have birthdays in January and my last year there, they started throwing an annual party. They’ve decided to make this one big and my buddy from Florida is going up and my best friend who lives on the east side of Virginia is driving in. And they invited me. Two people actually invited me. And I thought I couldn’t go. You know? We just spent a weekend in Tennesse with lots of driving and plane tickets were so expensive. But then Aubrey just told me to do it. Just do it. And I absolutely love him for it. He really is just amazing. So I called up Amanda last night and we figured everything out and the tickets turned out to be way cheaper and everyone is actually happy that I’m coming up there. Sometimes I feel that after I moved back from Virginia I never quite fit in again.
Virginia will twist your soul. I know, I’m a resident.
I’m pretty sure our Virginia experiences were very different. Especially considering that you could pick the people from the DC area out of a crowd with no problem. Not like the rest of Virginia!
